Prepare to die was what most people did when they heard about the PC port of Dark Souls. A port so barebones Michael Jackson would’ve offered to buy it for his private Museum, were he not dead. A locked framerate, and a locked framebuffer that just upscaled the image to match your screen resolution meant this port was going to go down in history as the ugliest conversion since Larry Wachowski’s sex change. That is, until one man changed all that. All hail Dark Souls – Durante Edition.

Half Life 2 is still an amazing looking game. Personally i dont like any mods at all in it. Least of all the horrible replacement ‘sexy Alyx’ skins or weapon retextures. It’s like drawing nipples on the Mona Lisa. It jsut doesn’t need it. However the ENB mods are different, and after tinkering with this ENB for a while ive managed to get a nice implementation of DOF working, and a ‘better than default but still not perfect needs work’ inplementation of AO.

Ah Bioshock. What a game. It really is one of the finest games this gen, if you ignore everything after the big Reveal that is.
I always get the urge to play it around summertime, and this time i modded it with a free camera and nohud command. Its also using 8X SSAA.

Nothing fancy here, just messing about in the latest build of Cryengine SDK. I might see if i can get rid of the hud for some nicer shots, but it’s a bit unstable as it is so im not sure how that’ll work out! With Crysis 3 in development, this latest build of Cryengine is most likely what it’s being developed on, so you can expect Crysis 3 to look rather similar (and probably less like the bullshots EA released the other day)
